My name is Ted Ayre and I come from Cumbria. I play real instruments like Alto Sax, Electric Bass, Double Bass and Piano but also have started using samples and break beats to make my own mixes.

After listening to many new jazz bands (especially Polar Bear, Acoustic Ladyland and Neil Cowley Trio) and old favourites such as Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and electronica band The Books, I decided I'd give mixing a bash. 'Depp' is the result of an hours work after a long school day.
