Can a poem be written without a cliché?
Without rhyme or reason?
Without repetition or question?
Are they always from ‘within the soul’?
Or borne out of angst, anger or loneliness?
Can a sentence be written and, Not
Finished on the next
Line. For effect.
Well?
Can it?
Always a mention of Autumn Leaves,
(My favourite Jazz piece),
And a mention of how far away love is,
Or how near fear is?
Is it pretentious enough for you?
Can I out pretentious everyone?
Is it presumptuous to presume?
Does not following the rules still conform to a rule?
Does anyone care?
Who are we talking to?
