Prose and Poetry
Edward Romain

Edward is a writer of mainly prose but also enjoys writing poetry immensely. He has been highly influenced by the works of Oscar Wilde and the aesthetic movements of the 18th Century. He is a great believer in dandyism and the idea of the human being as a work of art.

“We are surrounded today by ugliness. Art must act as a shield, a mask of divine beauty behind which human inadequacies may be hidden. Art must be aesthetic and appealing if it is to be termed art. There is only good art; bad art is not art at all!”
